These beautiful properties in South-West France are available directly from the owners. There are three chateaux and a charming stone Farmhouse set in 12 acres of wooded hillside.
Each Chateau is surrounded by its own land and offers complete privacy. Chateau du Trichot, dating from the 12th century, has a reception area that can accommodate up to 150 guests for weddings or other banquets. Chateau de Lamostonie is surrounded by its own land and has sweet scented roses and a Juliet balcony. Chateau Cardou commands a magnificant position with 125 acres in the golden valley.
Each chateau has a heated swimming pool, a flood lit tennis court, a barbecue, and a grand piano. These may be rented for holidays, celebrations or weddings. We can help you to arrange a cook for some of all of the period of your stay.
This part of historic Aquitaine in South-West France is known as Perigord. The countryside is peaceful, with occasional hilltop 'bastide' villages dating from the 12th century, and castles from the same era.
There is plenty to do and see, including easy canoeing on the rivers and exploring some of the biggest underground caves in Europe. The region is also known by the names of the major rivers, the Dordogne, the Lot and the Garonne. Local specialities include wonderful French foods and rich red wines.
