We depart tomorrow for home but just wanted to say thank you for the little touches that make coming here so special. Charles’s 50th has been one to remember. Black tie dinner in the dining room with the fire lit ! Really wonderful. I was the one with my back to it - marvellous for the warmth in a sleeveless dress!
The house, with fresh flowers for us and the wine you left including champagne were very much appreciated. Frederique has been an absolute star arranging to clear us up in the morning before people got up. I will write to her separately.
The pianos were enjoyed by the 2 pianists and we enjoyed their music.
When you do the deposit - we may owe you for 4 evenings fires worth of wood which we replenished from the wood store. I’m not sure how much 1/3rd of a m2 is!
We also broke a couple of glasses but we bought some to replace.
Everything else all worked splendidly and even though the dishwasher in the kitchen died - because Frederique was here and the first one to realise it was replaced by Laurence before we got back from our Saturday trip.

Cardou and grounds provided a brilliant experience for extended family with 8 adults and 4 children in the group. Great play areas inside and out, with the swimming pool being much loved. Dining room, kitchen, and terrace areas excellent. A week of luxury.

We had a wonderful week at Le Trichot. The Chateau was beautiful, clean and really spacious for our group of 4 families with young children. So much for the children to explore. We loved the tennis and the pool was amazing. It could not have been any better and I would recommend very highly. Thank you xxx

We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely chateau. We were a party of 6 adults, 1 toddler, 1 baby, 5 children, 3 teenagers. The pool and tennis court were great. Comfortable and well equipped.. We enjoyed the local fete one evening..

From the wonderful swimming pool to the all purpose tennis court and all the facilities you would ever need to the amazing family accommodation - this place has it all. Absolutely beautiful and the best bakery in France within a 5 minute walk!!!!

We loved everything about the property. Eating our meals seated around the long table under the trees fantastic. The pool is perfect This is the best equipped accommodation we have ever rented. The bedroom layout is perfect for several families getting together.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour en famille au château de Lamostonie, dans ce lieu magique où nous avons gardé de nombreux souvenirs d'enfance.
Tout était parfait dans les moindres détails ! Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été sensibles à toutes ces délicates attentions, les bouquets de fleurs fraiches et les bouteilles de vin.
Frédérique et Laurent sont vraiment adorables, très serviables et discrets.
Le château est tellement confortable, la cuisine est spacieuse et bien équipée pour préparer les repas, les tournois de ping-pong et les veillées autour du feu de cheminée dans la grande salle à manger nous ont fait oublier la pluie !
Encore un grand merci pour ce merveilleux et mémorable séjour !

Comments: Comme la quasi-totalité des commentaires est en anglais, je vais écrire en français pour la diversité.
Nous avons passé une semaine au château, à 5 familles avec des enfants de 1 à 7 ans et nous nous y sommes parfaitement sentis.
La disposition des chambres est bien adaptée pour des familles avec jeunes enfants et le nombre permet de venir avec un large groupe (nous étions 21 dont 11 enfants + 1 cuisinière dormant sur place + 2 nounous + 1 famille de passage à un moment). A aucun moment, nous ne nous sommes sentis à l'étroit.µ Piscine, court de tennis, pelouses, 2 emplacements pour manger à l'ombre en fonction de l'horaire, table de ping-pong et une région qui vaut la peine avec plusieurs sublimes villages aux alentours.
De plus, Joanna et sa famille sont très réactifs pour répondre à nos demandes, avant, pendant et après le séjour. C'est moi-même qui ralentissait les discussions par manque de disponibilité. Enfin, les gens qui s'occupent du château ou donnent un coup de main en cas de problèmes sont tous polis et aimables.
